2022 Wreaths Across America
As summer comes to a close we start preparing for winter and the holiday season. We will once again be partaking in Wreaths Across America. This year’s date will be December 17, 2022, the opening ceremony will be at the Memorial Wall in the Lone Mountain Cemetery. A flyer will be posted on the cemetery page of the Pershing County website. You may also reach out to Liz Blondheim at the county annex building.
Many families decorate their loved one’s graves throughout the holiday seasons, please remember to remove all decorations, flowers, wreaths and all other memorabilia within two weeks after the new year. By doing this you help in keeping plots and the cemetery clean and debris free.
The cemetery office, and cemetery board would like to thank all those that volunteer to help with the upkeep of our cemeteries, with a special Thank You to Glenn Rose, David Fecht and Gordon Hostman.
