County E-mail System Upgrade

As part of ongoing efforts to improve digital information security and communication between Pershing County employees and the public, Pershing County IT Department is performing a migration to a new e-mail system and e-mail addresses.

After the maintenance window beginning at 6:00 PM on Friday, September 18, 2020, all Pershing County Employees will have email addresses ending in @pershingcountynv.gov.

2020 General Election Myths vs Facts

There is a lot of misinformation about the 2020 Nevada General Election. Below, we address many of those myths with the facts behind the vote counting process and voting methods used not only in Pershing County, but statewide. You can also download this Fact vs. Myths examination as a PDF.

Early voting for the 2020 Nevada General Election is October 17-30, 2020.

Election Day is November 3, 2020.


Moving to a new Domain!

Pershing County and WNDD Launch Downtown Lovelock Virtual Visioning Tour

As part of the EPA Brownfields Programs, Pershing County Economic Development Authority and Western Nevada Development District have launched a new virtual tour to solicit public input and feedback.


The tour combines a five minute video and short questionnaire related to proposed usages of sites around Downtown Lovelock including Main Street, Cornell Avenue, and 11th Street. The entire tour should take around 10 minutes to complete.
