The Pershing County is seeking applicants to fill the following positions:
- Community Center Coordinator (Part-Time)
Open until filled.
- Buildings & Grounds On-Call Custodian
Open until filled.
Update 04/27/2021: The MVU has confirmed that they will be offering the second Pfizer vaccine dose and the Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) one-dose vaccine.
Update 04/19/2021: The second MVU event will be on May 7th, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Update 04/13/2021: Due to the freeze on the Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) Vaccine, the MVU will be offering the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine on April 16th. The second dose will be offered on May 5th. Vaccinations using the Pfizer vaccine will also be opened up to all Nevada residents aged 16 and older.
Mobile Vaccination Units (MVUs) from FEMA will be in Pershing County on Friday, April 16th 2021 to distribute up to 300 doses of the Janssen single-dose vaccine. The MVUs will be at the Senior Center
Vaccine doses will be distributed on a first come, first served basis free of charge to all Nevadans age 18 and up. There is no charge for vaccination.

Based on the response to the first dose drive-through vaccination pod, there will be no electronic registration for the second vaccination pod on the 24th.
